The Zonta Club of Harrisburg-Hershey has raised money to specifically fund local projects which focus on the improvement and safety of women and children. Zonta invites your non-profit organization to submit a proposal.
One award of between $1,000 and $5,000 may be given, or may be divided between several organizations. These funds may not be used for wages, salaries or staff travel except as they directly relate to the funded project.
When making our selection, we will consider numerous factors, including the geographical area served by your organization; the number of people being served through the funded project; will the project be abandoned if not funded by Zonta; the level of the organizations current fundraising; will the project have a direct or indirect impact on women and children; type of service to be funded, i.e. basic service, brochures, etc.; is there an evaluation process for this project and the duration of the project.
Deadline for submission is February 26, 2010.
